Brand Story

Sutudu means freedom, liberation, and emancipation in Vietnamese. The brand represents creative freedom for independent filmmakers building outside the traditional Hollywood establishment.

Sutudu.com is the filmmaker and business platform for distribution, analytics, marketplace tools, and partnerships. Sutudu.TV is the audience-facing streaming destination for independent films, documentaries, shorts, series, and future originals.

The Sutudu tagline is Picture Freedom.

Logo Assets

Use the official Sutudu logo files rather than recreating or approximating the mark. Public logo resources include the Sutudu square logo, Sutudu horizontal logo, Sutudu black logo, Sutudu brand logo, white stacked logo, black stacked logo, gradient stacked logo, and Sutudu.TV white, black, horizontal, and vertical logo lockups.

  • Sutudu Logo Square — primary logo mark for app icons and limited spaces.
  • Sutudu Logo Horizontal — full horizontal lockup for headers, partnerships, and press.
  • Sutudu Brand Logo — full brand mark for featured placements and marketing materials.
  • Sutudu Logo Black — dark logo version for light backgrounds, print, and co-branding.

Brand Colors

The primary Sutudu color system is the Flame Gradient, ordered from Ember Orange through Revolutionary Red to Visionary Violet. Vertical applications move from Ember Orange at the bottom, through Revolutionary Red, to Visionary Violet at the top. Horizontal applications follow the same order from left to right.

  • Ember Orange — #D43227, hsl(4, 68%, 49%). Warm brand accent and bottom/left of the flame gradient. CMYK: 11/95/100/2.
  • Revolutionary Red — #D50E50, hsl(340, 91%, 44%). Core brand red, CTAs, highlights, and center of the flame gradient. CMYK: 0/100/51/11.
  • Visionary Violet — #BE3D96, hsl(319, 52%, 49%). Brand violet, accents, secondary highlights, and top/right of the flame gradient. CMYK: 24/90/0/0.
  • Film Gray — #323E48, hsl(208, 18%, 24%). Secondary text and receding elements; 75% multiply over imagery for logo placement. CMYK: 79/64/52/44.
  • Cinematic Black — #000000. Primary dark background and logo/tagline base. CMYK: 75/68/67/90.
  • Pure White — #FFFFFF. Primary text on dark backgrounds and clean contrast for logo legibility.

Typography

The Sutudu brand type system uses Helvetica Neue Extended for brand materials and Inter for digital platforms. Helvetica Neue Extended gives the visual identity a bold, cinematic presence. Inter is the screen-optimized companion used across web and product surfaces.

  • Helvetica Neue 73 Black Extended — primary headlines and titles.
  • Helvetica Neue 65 Bold — secondary headlines and highlighted body copy.
  • Helvetica Neue 53 Extended — logo tagline, large numbers, and claims.
  • Helvetica Neue 45 Light — body copy.
  • Inter weights 300 through 700 — digital interface and product typography.

Usage Guidelines

  • Use official logo files and maintain minimum clear space around the mark equal to the height of one U in the wordmark.
  • Use dark logos on light backgrounds and white or full-color logos on dark backgrounds.
  • Place the logo on the darkest or lightest area of imagery, clear of overlapping objects.
  • Use Film Gray at 75% multiply transparency over photography for legible logo placement.
  • Do not tilt, rotate, flip, warp, recolor, omit elements, or recreate the logo.
  • Do not place the logo over busy photography, textures, multi-color areas, or colors similar to the warm orange/red/violet palette.
  • Contact Sutudu before using the brand in paid advertising, merchandise, sponsorship campaigns, or co-branded partner assets.
