What is Sutudu?

Sutudu (Sự tự do — Vietnamese for "freedom") is a filmmaker-first distribution platform. Filmmakers manage their projects on Sutudu.com, and audiences discover and watch content on Sutudu.TV. We offer TVOD (transactional), SVOD (subscription), and AVOD (ad-supported) distribution models with revenue splits up to 90%.

Distribution Models

TVOD (Transactional): Viewers pay to rent or purchase your film individually. You set the price, we handle the transaction. Revenue split up to 90/10 depending on your plan.

SVOD (Subscription): Viewers pay a monthly subscription to access the film library. Revenue is pooled and divided by watch time. Your membership tier determines your split percentage.

AVOD (Ad-Supported): Films are free to watch with ads. Revenue comes from CPM-based advertising. Splits range from 10% to 50% depending on your plan.

Founded by Khoa D. Le

Sutudu was founded in 2024 by filmmaker Khoa D. Le in Jersey City, NJ. The platform was built from firsthand experience with the challenges independent filmmakers face in distribution — lack of transparency, unfair revenue splits, and limited access to audience data.
